How Do I Work With Guests?
Well, in the words of T-Pain:
"Talk to me, I talk back. Let's talk money, I talk that."
Yes, I listen & talk. I will listen to what you want. I will ask questions. I will answer all your questions you may have about investment of time & money. I talk money. Usually, your first appointment with me will be more time & money than maintaining your color. Your first appointment is getting you to where you want to be & every appointment thereafter is maintaining that look. We will discuss cost & time of your first appointment & maintenance plans.
I don't like to feel rushed when doing hair. I book one client at a time. And I have built in extra time with each service to ensure that we can have a consult at the beginning of each appointment. Even when you have seen me for years. We will always have a mini consult before I mix up your color.
I take notes. I take notes on what we did that day, what to do next time, what to follow up with at your next appointment, any issues or concerns you may have, etc.
I want each guest to feel at home. If you want to chat, we will chat. If you want to pop in your ear buds & catch up on your favorite podcast, show, or scroll tiktok or reels, feel free to pop them in. Bring a book to read or your laptop to get work done if you need to. You can also just sit & enjoy the time to yourself. You can bring your own drinks, but we at Adorn also have drinks & snacks.
